At St. Agnes Hospital and Waupun Memorial Hospital, our birthing suites blend the latest technology, the comforts of home and the medical expertise of our physicians and staff to meet the medical and emotional needs of expectant mothers and their families. These newly updated facilities allow us to concentrate on what is important - the individuality of each birth and each family.
St. Agnes Hospital and Waupun Memorial Hospital bring together the expertise of family medicine physicians, obstetricians, gynecologists, internists and pediatricians to provide nurturing medical care for our patients.
St. Agnes Hospital
Brand new, opened in fall 2017, the birthing rooms of St. Agnes Hospital are decorated and furnished to make you feel right at home, with rocking chair, recliner, table and chairs, TV, stereo and subdued lighting. A special birthing bed lets you try a variety of different positions during delivery. And you will love the full bath with whirlpool. There is plenty of room for your family, and for the hospital staff to bring in everything needed for delivery. The special care nursery is located right next to the nurses' station. Babies room in with mom.
Waupun Memorial Hospital
Built in 2017, the women and infants floor at Waupun Memorial Hospital prides itself on the care that new mothers receive when admitted for labor and delivery. Its Obstetrics unit offers rooms that are equipped with private whirlpool tubs and are designated labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum suites, allowing new moms to remain in one room to enjoy the entire birth experience. Each new arrival in Waupun is treated with the utmost care in a comfortable, warm atmosphere.
Prepared Childbirth offered on-line through the Health Resource Center
This internet-based program is a convenient alternative for those whose schedules make it difficult to attend an on-site class due to scheduling concerns, time constraints or health issues. The user-friendly program guides expectant parents through quality, evidence-based information at their own pace. Families will learn about the stages of labor, comfort techniques, common medical procedures, including epidurals, and newborn and postpartum care. Engaging videos, personal birth stories, 3D animations, games, and activities make learning easy and fun.
