How can I make a payment?

SSM Health offers three options for paying your bill. You can pay your bill online, by mail or by phone. Pay by phone by calling Customer Service at 888-918-3512 (for hospital bills) or 888-918-3540 (for Medical Group bills) Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You can also mail your payment.

Patients using MyChart can conveniently and securely pay their SSM Health Medical Group bills online. This service is free, and payments will post immediately.

What forms of payment do you accept online?

We accept cash, check and major credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover. We also accept E-checks.

Can I pay my bill over the telephone?
Yes, we accept major credit card payments and checks over the phone or by mail. To pay over the phone, call customer service at toll free 888-918-3512 (for hospital bills) or 888-918-3540 (for Medical Group bills) from 8 am to 5 pm (CST) Monday - Friday. Major credit cards are accepted. E-check is also available.

Can I make payment arrangements?

Yes, please contact our customer service department to discuss reasonable payments arrangements and our zero interest patient loan option.

Will SSM Health file my hospital claim?

Yes, as a courtesy, we will submit a claim to your insurance company. It is important that you provide accurate and complete insurance information at the time of registration to ensure that the claim process goes smoothly.

Will SSM Health submit secondary insurance claims?

Yes, we submit secondary claims on your behalf. Secondary claims are submitted after your primary claim has completed processing.

I believe that I overpaid my account. How do I get a refund?

Please contact our customer service department. We will review your account(s). If you are due a refund, we will process it promptly.

Who do I contact for financial assistance if I cannot pay my bill?

Our Customer Service department is open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday – Friday. For SSM Health Hospital bills, please call 888-918-3512 and for SSM Health Medical Group bills, please call 888-918-3540 for information about financial assistance. We are also pleased to offer other payments arrangements.
