The course presents information about the AHA adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also presents information on the AHA pediatric Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of the most common fatal pediatric injuries and reduction in the risk of sudden infant death syndrome. Division Street, Fond du Lac Cost: $25 per person HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CPR RENEWAL is for those who hold a current Healthcare Provider CPR certification and need to renew their status. Healthcare providers will review the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device and oxygen), use of an AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction in responsive and non-responsive victims. Optional book purchase of $12. Register Afternoon Grief Support Group Time: Noon to 1:15 p.m. Cost: Free Community Service Sponsored by Agnesian HealthCare, this afternoon grief support program is designed to help participants cope with the death of a loved one in an informative and supportive group setting. In addition to a general overview of the grieving process, participants will also learn differences in grieving, how to manage their grief, past grief experiences and how to prepare for and face special days such as holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. Other topics to be addressed include spirituality and grieving, how to help others cope with their loss, and the importance of closure – how to go on after saying “good-bye.”

Division Street, Fond du Lac Cost: $30 per couple This class provides instruction and demonstration regarding infant care, such as feeding, bathing, navel care, circumcision care and diapering. Mom and support person are welcome to attend. The class covers how to respond to your infant’s cues, signs and symptoms of an ill infant, newborn safety and much more. This class should be completed by the end of the eighth month of pregnancy. Register
