Agnesian HealthCare's Eating Disorders support group is for adults 18 and older who are struggling with anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder and/or bulimia nervosa.

In order to attend this group, members are required to see a therapist and/or dietitian regularly, and will be expected to sign a release of information at the first group so the group facilitators and treatment team can remain in contact should a safety issue arise.

Group facilitators have the right to ask individuals to leave or take a break from the group if they become inappropriate (relapse or become too ill that they would be a risk to themselves or other members).

Before admission to this group, members must contact Colleen Hanson, MS, LPC, at (920) 926-4389, or Jacalyn Wendt Coleman, MS, RDN, CD, at (920) 926-4674 to be screened. Members cannot show up to group without being screened by one of the above.

This group is intended for individuals who are grieving the death of someone closes to them. Learn about a variety of grief topics and with opportunities to share you experience with others who understand. This group provides a safe environment to share feelings such as guilt, anger, fear, or loneliness.

Please join us at the Bereavement Center behind Twohig Flooring America, near the Kwik Trip on the west side of Fond du Lac.

Registration is not required for open groups.

LGBTQ Adult is a free, confidential support group for adults 18 and older who identify with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) community, and/or seeking support surrounding their sexual orientation.

Facilitated by Leann Vice-Reshel, MA, LPC; Paul Clark, MSE, LPC; and Michaela Ramos, BS, master's level intern, Agnesian Health Care Behavioral Health Services, this professional and peer-led group offers support to individuals anywhere in their coming out process, and includes professional education on the following:

  • Coming out
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Gender identity
  • Communication with family and friends

This group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Health Resource Center; and the third Thursday of each month in the Finance Meeting Room.

Walk With a Doc at Saturday Farmers Market

Join an Agnesian HealthCare provider for an outside Walk with a Doc opportunity at the Saturday Farmers Market this summer.

Dana Vasquez, MD, Internal Medicine provider, will meet interested individuals at the corner of Macy and Fourth Street at 10 a.m. to begin the walk (weather permitting).  

Preregistration not required.

Walk with a Doc is a free program held regularly at the Forest Mall in Fond du Lac. Walk with a Doc is open to the Fond du Lac and surrounding communities. Individuals are encouraged to sign up to be a Walk with a Doc member. Registration is free! Prizes are awarded quarterly based on the number of miles walked.

Domestic violence affects everyone involved, including the family and friends of the person being abused. The Affected Family Members Group provides family and friends a place of support, healing and learning to help support loved ones while they are in the abusive relationship and after thay have left the abusive relationship.

This open support group meets the first and third Thursday of each month from 4 to 5 p.m.

Family members and friends must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this support group.

Join Lora Vahlsing, certified Hatha Yoga instructor, for a four-week mixed level prenatal yoga class for all levels and any trimester of pregnancy. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with your body's natural wisdom about birth and bond with baby.

Class dates include Mondays, August 7 to 28.

Individuals should bring a yoga mat to each class.

The collaborative mission is to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages, and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle in order to improve the health and well-being of the country.

Join providers on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. to begin your commitment of improved health and well-being.

Step it Up! The Surgeon General of the United States recommends 150 minutes of weekly exercise to:

The Alzheimer's support group is an open gathering of people with common needs and interests who come together to share their feelings, thoughts and experiences in a combined effort to better cope with and manage the shared challenges of dementia in a safe environment. Support groups may include persons with dementia as well as caregivers.

RMC Triathlon

This Ripon Medical Center event combines the rich history of the Green Lake Conference Center, its beautiful grounds and the deepest inland lake in Wisconsin to attract racers from all over the Midwest. The course includes an amazing lake swim, rolling hills on the bike and secluded run course making this triathlon perfect for beginners to veterans.
