The pain is emotional, physical and mental. It might mean our bones and joints ache and it definitely means that our heart aches. Is there a day that will come when we don’t miss our loved ones or feel that ache? I hear this question often. And my answer is always the same, no. We are all made up of multiple different tissues such as bone, tendon, muscle and ligaments. These tissues all heal at different rates. Therefore, the time a rotator cuff repair (tendon) versus a broken bone takes to heal will vary. In general, bone takes 12 weeks, muscle six weeks up to six months, ligament and tendon 40 to 50 weeks to return to approximately normal strength.
Thu, 12 Oct 2017 07:00:00 CDT Matt Sheehy, PTA, Agnesian HealthCare Sports & Spine Center http://agnesian.com/blog/how-long-going-take-heal Declaring Some "Me Time" http://agnesian.com/blog/declaring-some-me-time
Autumn is the most beautiful time of the year. What may not be widely known is that obesity also increases your risk for several types of cancer, including: breast, colon, esophageal, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreatic, uterine, ovarian, kidney and prostate cancers.
Sun, 16 Jul 2017 07:00:00 CDT Dwayne Clark, MD, Family Medicine http://agnesian.com/blog/whats-around-your-waist-matters Help for Families Affected by Autism http://agnesian.com/blog/help-families-affected-autism

Agnesian Beyond Boundaries of Autism (ABBA) serves central Wisconsin offering the Early Start Denver Model and the Treffert Approach. Home-based and Center-based behavioral treatment services for children, 5 and under, with an autism diagnosis. How much water is recommended to stay hydrated during the day? Aim to drink half of your body weight in ounces every day. So if you weigh 160 pounds, then aim for 80 ounces of water per day. If you are more active or in a hot environment, you may need more than 80 ounces. This may seem like a lot of water, but remember that fruits, vegetables, soups, tea and milk also count toward your total volume.

How do I know if I’m dehydrated?
Wed, 12 Jul 2017 07:00:00 CDT Brooke Gardner, DPT, LAT, Agnesian HealthCare Sports & Spine Center http://agnesian.com/blog/feeling-tired-and-getting-headache-it-could-be-dehydration Antique Memories http://agnesian.com/blog/antique-memories
The Fourth of July was always my favorite holiday as a child. As I think back on past Fourth of July holidays, I can almost feel the warm summer sun on my face, smell the charcoal grills and hear the high school bands marching down the street. I can see excited children sitting on the curb during the parade waiting to gather the candy that has been thrown to them from the fire truck that is passing by.
