On Tuesday, October 15, Agnesian HealthCare's Bereavement Services team hosted a candle lighting and prayer service for National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. This special day recognizes, remembers, and raises awareness for all those who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death. Parents, as well as the community, were invited to join in the lighting of candles to raise awareness for this annual observation.

This year, we participated in this national day of remembrance in the St. Agnes Chapel. The Fond du Lac community joined the nation by lighting candles at 7 p.m. and kept them burning for one hour. This "Wave of Light" is a chance each year to remember and honor all the babies, while showing love and support to those who have endured this loss.

The Bereavement Services Resolve Through Sharing Program® also offers individual and group support to women and their families. Contact the Bereavement Center at (920) 907-3940 for further information.
