Give yourself permission
Let me introduce myself. I am a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend. During the day, I can be found as a bereavement specialist, a Cub Scout Den leader, a Sunday School teacher, a school volunteer. I spend my days cooking, cleaning and running taxi for my family.

A Mother’s Love
A few weeks ago, I finalized plans for a “Girls Only” weekend to visit my friend in Florida for her wedding. No kids, no husbands along. Just the girls, getting a chance to reunite and catch up over a long weekend. You cannot imagine the anticipation that has been building for this trip.

The Power of Love
The other day, my four-year-old daughter and I were running errands in the car. There was nothing out of the ordinary about this day. My daughter was sitting in the back of the car, happily talking away to me, sharing anything and everything she could think of.
